Google Play is one of the most popular applications for Android devices. Amazon Firestick also runs on the Android OS, but the Google Play is not an official app for the Firestick. Many Google Play apps are available on the Amazon App store to download but not the Google Play app. Google play store is a huge android market which gives you access to various digital media such as apps, games, movies, books, music and many more. But now it is possible to download Google play app on Firestick and Fire TV.

Google Play app on Firestick / Fire TV
You cannot directly download and install the Google Play App on your Firestick. You have it side-load it on to the Firestick. To install third-party apps, you need to use any of the side-loading apps like Downloader or ES File Explorer.
Pre Installation steps:
Step 1: Launch the Firestick on your TV.
Step 2: Go to the Firestick home screen and click on settings menu.
Step 3: Select My Fire TV or Device option.
Step 4: Select Developer options.
Step 5: Click on Apps from Unknown Source to enable it.
Step 6: Click Turn on from the prompt to enable Apps from Unknown Source option.
Install Google Play Store on Firestick using Downloader
Step 1: After enabling Apps from unknown sources, return to the firestick home screen.
Step 2: Go to search bar or open the App Store.
Step 3: Search for the Downloader app.
Step 4: Select downloader app from the search result.
Step 5: Click Download button from the downloader app information screen.
Step 6: Once the app is installed, the download option will turn into Open, click on Open to launch the app.
Step 7: Select Settings from the left side of downloader home screen.
Step 8: Click on Enable Java Script option.
Step 9: Click Yes from the prompt and return to downloader home screen.
Step 10: Enter your Google App Store URL (http://bit.ly/2sKdmbJ) in the downloader address bar.
Step 11: Click Go. The app file will start downloading.
Step 12: When the app file downloaded, click next and then click Install.
Step 13: Once the Google Play Store app is installed, click open to launch your app on your Firestick.
Now the Google Play store app is installed on your Firestick or Fire TV.
Install Google Play Store on Firestick using Es File Explorer
Es File Explorer on Firestick or Fire TV is an File Manager app. Apart from that it also acts as an side-loading app on Firestick.
Step 1: Go to the Firestick Home screen and move to search bar.
Step 2: Search for ES File Explorer app and select the Es File Explorer from the search result.
Step 4: Click on Download icon from ES File Explorer app information screen.
Step 5: When the download is finished, click on Open.
Step 6: Click on the Downloader icon directly from the right side.
Step 7: Click on + New icon appears on the bottom of the screen.
Step 8: It will open the small window with Path Field and Name field text box. Here, enter App URL (http://bit.ly/2sKdmbJ) in the path field and in the name text box.
Step 8: Click on Download Now, the Google Play Store app file will start downloading.
Step 9: When the downloading is finished, click Open File.
Step 10: Click Install from the small window, the app start installing.
Step 11: Once the installation is finished, click Open to enter launch the Google Play Store app on your Firestick.

Once the Google Play Store app is installed on your Firestick, you are recommended to delete the apk file stored on your Firestick storage.
